Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance is a good thing for this humanity

A spiritual practice that is way beyond anything I have ever gotten involved with. Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance is a good thing for this humanity. The universe explained.. A MUST READ over and over again.

Since I have entered the practice, back in 2009, my back injury (which was going to require a surgery that could have rendered me paraplegic) has vanished, within a few weeks 6 - 8 weeks) doing the Falun Qigong exercises and reading this book as put me back on track with becoming a better person.
And miracles happens when you are a good person. The heart to become good can open up great doors!

This book has been genuinely guiding me like no other spiritual book or practice I have ever read/practiced before...all the questions I have had regarding life and death, illness, spritual cultivation etc. have been answered by sincerely studying Zhuan Falun. I would recommend it to anyone, anyone at all, regardless of their opinions on spirituality, current beliefs, or opinions on Falun Dafa. I have, through the rational understandings gained through studying the book and self-reflection, improved my moral standards, achieved increasing inner peace and tranquillity, and many other great benefits.

Sorry I read this book

Sometimes you like a book and then read the second one in the series and wish you had stopped. That is how I felt about this book. I liked both Zack and Sam in the first book. They had chemistry and passion. Zack was crazy in love and possessive towards Sam, which I loved. IMO it just took him too long to break up with Rachel. In the first book I was upset when Rachel did what she did to Zack and irritated at him for getting into the position in the first place. However, I was ok with the end of the first book with the HFN ending. Rachel was completely out of the picture and I was relieved. However I no longer felt that relief after reading this book. She comes back and at the end hurts their relationship again. In fact, the newest thing she did just tied her to Zack for life. I am pretending that I did not read this book and will not be reading anymore. Their romance can only go downhill further and I do not want to read about it. In my mind, Zack and Sam have their HEA which does not include Rachel entanglements.

Power of Forgivness

The book show the power of forgiveness. This principle works with abuse and is actually the only cure for abuse. I picked this little nuggett up in the book An Encounter With A Prophet and found it a powerful tool in dealing with my past. The man named David illustrates this point very well for those open to the concept. I loved the book.

This book is about the compassion and forgiveness the author finds in the face of horrible abuse. In the first two book we all felt the author's natural reactions to his abuse. Now in the third book the author gives us the solution. Not the solution to abuse but the solution for all victims of abuse - compassion and forgiveness. I did not get this understanding until after I read the book An Encounter With A Prophet which more explicitly shows how to accomplish the solution.

I've read all of Dave's books and each one reminds me of my childhood years. I was an abused child and reading these books brought bad memories of my past. Tears filled my eyes. For the first time ever males such as Dave are writing "their" story about abuse. Not for "MONEY" as some critics have mentioned. But to help people like me. People who have suffered silently through such a terrible childhood. Men need to stop suffering silently. It is not wrong to "tell your story" and I admire Dave for doing just that. I truly recommend any boy/man to read his book. It will move you and hope, heal some wounds!

Great Educationing Read

My dear friends let's hold on to Jesus during these final times that we are living in. I bought this book upon recommendation of a loved one and I enjoyed it. I do like that this book is very easy to read and the chapters are short and concise. There were a few misconceptions that I had about the Holy Spirit that were actually clarified by this book. I did not know that the Holy Spirit is always at work and is not limited to wondrous signs and displays. The Holy Spirit is always at work behind the scenes even when we do not realize it. Learning the truth can set you free. We need to really know who we are in Christ. Sometimes people tend to think that the Holy Spirit is a distant being when He is really not. He lives right inside of you if you are a believer. I would definitely like to read more on this subject.

It was during this battle that British fleets lost control of the Chesapeake Bay and the supply lines to the major military base at Yorktown, Virginia. As a direct result, General George Washington's forces and the newly arrived French troops were able to apply the pressure that finally broke the British army.

Sir Samuel Hood (1724-1816) was one of the commanders of the British fleet off the Virginia Capes during the American Revolution. Responsibility for some of the missed opportunities and gaffes committed by the British during the bloody Battle of the Chesapeake can be traced to him, specifically his failure to bring his squadron into action at a key moment in the action. Afterward, Hood defended his actions by arguing that ordering his ships to attack would have contradicted the orders sent to him by battle flag. Hood largely escaped blame, which was assigned to Rear Admiral Graves, who commanded the fleet.

Though Hood's inaction arguably resulted in the loss of the American colonies, he ultimately rose to command the Mediterranean fleet. Colin Pengelly engages the details of this battle as no other historian and sifts through Hood's own propaganda to determine how he escaped subsequent blame.
